Abstract
A long-used method: the primary suture of the lesions of the collateral ligaments of the knee joint is discussed by the authors. Because of the unsatisfactory results this method did not become a routine procedure. On the basis of their 24 cases the method is recommended by the authors. Atraumatic operative technique and the importance of the post-operative treatment are emphasized by the authors.
