[Urination and urinary tract infections in girls. 1. The pathogenetic significance of functional urination disorders].

About 400 girls with non-obstructive urinary tract infection were submitted to special care for at least one year, mostly considerably longer, however. Being searched for functional micturition disturbances, more than one-half of them showed a habit of delaying the micturition until imperative desire to urinate. Girls with this habit had clearly more relapses of UTI than those voiding regularly.
