Job candidates are often extremely naive when interviewing for a new position. They have been told to "sell themselves," and that's what they set out to do. Unfortunately, some jobs are not worth the effort. Ironically, when the job sours, candidates often look back and say, "The warning signs were there; I just ignored them." By watching out for "red flags" during the interview process, candidates may be able to avoid unpleasant surprises.
