Innovative collaboration improves student recruitment.

This article reports on the problem of and partial solution to declining enrollments in an associate degree medical radiography program at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston. After it was determined that many interested and capable applicants could not attend on a full-time day basis, the full-time day program was adapted to a part-time late afternoon/evening format. Major institutions consequently supported their full-time employees in this part-time option. The collaboration between college and community provided visibility, funding, access and quality.
