Due to the value of patient recovery and the development of nursing practices, 37 infants under 1 year of age are studied. These patients had been hospitalized in the Service of Acute Respiratory Diseases in Sur Teaching Children's Hospital in Santiago de Cuba during the months of March-April, 1987. This research work is based in the process of nursing care, and its aimed to determine the behavior and results of its application in a ward with a staff covering the current indicators. It was found that with the human resources available in this service it was feasible to carry out this process, which enabled a more rapid rehabilitation of these patients, according to the care plan carried out. The nurse-patient relationship became apparent in all of the patients studied, with prevalence of the 6-9 month-old age group.
由于患者康复的价值以及护理实践的发展，对37名1岁以下婴儿进行了研究。这些患者于1987年3月至4月期间在古巴圣地亚哥市苏尔教学儿童医院的急性呼吸道疾病科住院。这项研究工作基于护理过程，旨在确定其在一个配备符合当前指标的工作人员的病房中的应用行为和效果。结果发现，利用该科室现有的人力资源来开展这一过程是可行的，根据所执行的护理计划，这使得这些患者能够更快地康复。在所有研究的患者中，护士与患者的关系都很明显，其中6至9个月龄组最为普遍。
