The development of medical science is not possible without studying of becoming and development of its scientific schools. In the field of public health, health care and history of medicine a unique position occupies the scientific school of RAMS academician, professor Yu.P Lisitsyn. The mentioned scientific school made a significant input into becoming and development of various directions of research in history of medicine and health care.
