Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are posing a growing public health problem on a global and national scale. Syphilis is one of the common STD. The dentist is most likely to come across associated oral manifestation of the disease. This is a case report of 60-year-old male patient who presented with multiple erythmatous lesions with shallow ulcerations and crusted appearance on the lip, mimicking few mucocutaneous lesions of oral cavity. He gave history of sexual exposure;further work up revealed it to be a case of secondary syphilis.
性传播疾病（STDs）在全球和国家层面上正构成日益严重的公共卫生问题。梅毒是常见的性传播疾病之一。牙医最有可能遇到该疾病相关的口腔表现。这是一例60岁男性患者的病例报告，该患者唇部出现多个红斑性病变，伴有浅溃疡和结痂外观，类似口腔黏膜皮肤的一些病变。他有性接触史；进一步检查发现这是一例二期梅毒。
