[Metabolic studies in reactive hypoglycemia].

Idiopathic reactive hypoglycemia is a rare and controversial entity. We present a 56-year-old woman with attacks of faintness after meals containing sugar. Postprandial hypoglycemia was found and was diagnosed as idiopathic reactive hypoglycemia. She did not suffer any attacks after sugar was eliminated from her diet.
