Of the 25 patients with malignant non-resectable tumors of the liver, the interruption of arterial blood supply of a whole neoplasm was achieved according to the findings of control angiography in 18. Objective signs of the improvement of the state were noted in 11 of them. The life time after embolization in 8 patients was in average (17.6 +/- 3.4) mos. Reduction of the arterial blood flow in the tumor, or occlusion of the right hepatic artery in involvement of the two lobes, was noted in 7 patients. The objective improvement of the state was noted in 1 of them, 4 survived in average (5.4 +/- 2.3) mos after embolization.
在25例无法切除的肝脏恶性肿瘤患者中，根据对照血管造影结果，18例实现了整个肿瘤动脉血供的中断。其中11例出现了病情改善的客观体征。8例患者栓塞后的平均生存期为(17.6±3.4)个月。7例患者出现肿瘤动脉血流减少，或在两叶受累时右肝动脉闭塞。其中1例病情有客观改善，4例栓塞后平均存活(5.4±2.3)个月。
