Abstract
Results of a study of 312 gas cutters revealed in a half of them sensibilization of metals-haptens (chromium, nickel, manganese) that are ingredients of industrial aerosols. Most frequently there occurred sensibilization of nasal mucosa (latent or as allergic rhinosinusopathy) in association with positive specific reactions of the blood in vitro. Bronchial asthma and chronic asthmatic bronchitis were rarely observed.
