The idea is, that searching for personal identity is a process which is localised in the nucleus of the individuum and the common culture. The personal growth is not separable from the changing conditions in the community. Here is given a contribution to the questions: How appears the mutual challenge and promotion in this process between the individuum and the society. How can we understand the specific acquired ability to communicate between the individual evolutional patterns and the institutions which mediate the collective feelings of identity. Are there special possibilities to understand or even to influence this process for psychotherapists?
