Abstract

High-performance liquid chromatography method was used to determine blood sulfoxide and sulfone, two metabolites of albendazole. Methanol containing 0.4% acetic acid was employed as mobile phase. Wavelength of 290 nm was chosen for uv-detector and mebendazole was used as internal standard. After a single dosage of albendazole 25 mg/kg was taken orally by healthy volunteers and neurocysticercosis patients, sulfoxide and sulfone were found in blood at 20 and 40 min respectively. The blood peak level appeared at 6 h on an average. The metabolites remained as long as 58-72 h in human blood.

采用高效液相色谱法测定阿苯达唑的两种代谢产物——血液中的亚砜和砜。以含0.4%乙酸的甲醇作为流动相。紫外检测器选用290 nm波长,以甲苯达唑作为内标。健康志愿者和脑囊尾蚴病患者口服单次剂量25 mg/kg阿苯达唑后,分别于20分钟和40分钟在血液中检测到亚砜和砜。血药峰浓度平均出现在6小时。这些代谢产物在人体血液中可留存长达58 - 72小时。
