PURPOSE OF REVIEW
The purpose of this review is to explain a practical clinical approach to the diagnosis and management of tremor.
RECENT FINDINGS
A number of rare but important causes of tremor have been delineated, which means that attention to detail in clinical assessment of patients with tremor is even more important.
SUMMARY
Tremors are best divided into those occurring mainly at rest, mainly on posture, and mainly during action. This basic division leads directly to differential diagnosis and effective treatment.
