A prospective study was conducted on 41 patients with benign prostatic hypertrophy. All patients underwent preoperative gas urethral pressure profilometry. The results showed an accurate correlation between prostatic profile length and prostatic urethral length, as measured after enucleation. The same correlation is found between the above parameters and the weight of the enucleated adenoma. Our results support the value of urethral pressure profile as a useful procedure in the preoperative estimation of prostatic size.
对41例良性前列腺增生患者进行了一项前瞻性研究。所有患者均接受了术前气体尿道压力测定。结果显示，前列腺轮廓长度与摘除术后测量的前列腺尿道长度之间存在精确的相关性。上述参数与摘除的腺瘤重量之间也存在相同的相关性。我们的结果支持尿道压力测定作为术前评估前列腺大小的一种有用方法的价值。
