NK lymphocytes play critical yet poorly defined role in implantation and during development in early pregnancy.
Recently, we showed that the proportion of NK that expressed CD69⁺ after incubation with K562 (CD69(stim)) cells reflected the NK population excitation potential. In the present study, we investigate the significance of NK activation levels in predicting embryo implantation.
A qualitative analysis of values distribution in two groups showed that 25/33 (75.8%) women who became pregnant had CD69(stim) levels that were >30 but <60% (conditionally normal zone). In contrast, CD69(stim) levels in patients who failed to become pregnant were either elevated, as in 10/51 (19.6%), or reduced, as in 20/51 (39.2%) of the patients. Accentuated CD69(stim) levels were predictive for implantation failure, extremely significant for decreased (OR 6.9, p=0.0004) and not quite significant for increased CD69(stim) levels (OR 3.9, p=0.062). Accordingly, conditionally normal CD69(stim) levels were favourable for implantation (OR 4.46, p=0.0032).
We confirm that actual peripheral blood natural killer cells activation status have an influence on embryo implantation. We showed that exactly normal NK cell activity predicting successful implantation.

最近,我们发现 NK 细胞与 K562(CD69(stim))细胞孵育后表达 CD69⁺的比例反映了 NK 细胞群体的激发潜能。在本研究中,我们研究了 NK 激活水平在预测胚胎着床中的意义。
对两组值分布的定性分析表明,25/33(75.8%)成功怀孕的妇女 CD69(stim)水平>30 但<60%(条件正常区)。相比之下,未怀孕患者的 CD69(stim)水平要么升高,如 10/51(19.6%),要么降低,如 20/51(39.2%)。明显升高的 CD69(stim)水平预示着床失败,对降低的 CD69(stim)水平具有显著意义(OR 6.9,p=0.0004),对升高的 CD69(stim)水平意义不大(OR 3.9,p=0.062)。因此,条件正常的 CD69(stim)水平有利于着床(OR 4.46,p=0.0032)。
我们证实了外周血自然杀伤细胞的实际激活状态对胚胎着床有影响。我们表明,NK 细胞的正常活性可以预测着床成功。
