Abstract
We report the management of infective endocarditis after an extracardiac Fontan operation. Obstruction of the infected conduit and the associated pulmonary arterial embolism led to failure of the Fontan circulation. This was managed by completely removing both the infected conduit and emboli and replacing the conduit.
