Though the migration of cultivated endothelial cells is decreased by aprotinin, their proliferation is not influenced. The inhibition of migration caused by PAMBA is lower than that caused by aprotinin. PAMBA, however, inhibits the proliferation of endothelial cells. Simultaneous application of both agents is not more effective than PAMBA alone. The probability of the intracellular action of PAMBA is discussed.
