Abstract

In Ankistrodesmus braunii, a unicellular alga, the activity of NADP-dependent glyceraldehyde phosphate dehydrogenase (GPD) in darkness is very resistant to X-rays. The light-induced increase in the activity of this enzyme within one minute is also not affected by irradiation. Doses up to 1060 Krad had no inhibitory effect. The increase of GPD activity during the life cycle, however, is very sensitive to X-rays.

在单细胞藻类布朗葡萄藻中,依赖NADP的磷酸甘油醛脱氢酶(GPD)在黑暗中的活性对X射线具有很强的抗性。该酶在一分钟内由光照诱导的活性增加也不受辐射影响。高达1060拉德的剂量没有抑制作用。然而,在生命周期中GPD活性的增加对X射线非常敏感。
