In this article we report on the current role of radiotherapy in the management of non-muscle invasive as well as in muscle invasive bladder cancer. Radiotherapy seems to have no role in non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. In muscle invasive bladder tumors, the role of radiotherapy is under investigation in view of new radiotherapy techniques and novel cytotoxic and biological agents.
