Abstract
On example of guppy Poecilia reticulata Peters interrelation was examined of novelty and significance of chemical stimulus for manifestation of fish behavioural reactions. Imparting of significance to the stimulus influences not only goal-directed orienting-searching acts appearing after stimulus recognition and due to the notion of its significance but also previous orienting-exploring behaviour, directed to recognition and revealing of its significance.

以孔雀鱼（Poecilia reticulata Peters）为例，研究了化学刺激的新颖性和重要性与鱼类行为反应表现之间的相互关系。刺激的重要性不仅影响刺激被识别后因对其重要性的认知而出现的目标导向性定向搜索行为，还影响之前为识别和揭示其重要性而进行的定向探索行为。
