Abstract

OBJECTIVE

To review the progress of the mechanisms of Wnt/beta-catenin and nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kappaB) pathways in the process of the intervertebral disc degeneration.

METHODS

The related literature about the mechanisms of Wnt/beta-catenin and NF-kappaB pathways in the process of the intervertebral disc degeneration was reviewed, analyzed, and summarized.

RESULTS

Wnt/beta-catenin and NF-kappaB pathways are both activated in the process of the intervertebral disc degeneration, and exist interaction. However, the specific mechanisms and interactive mediums of Wnt/beta-catenin and NF-kappaB pathways in the process of the intervertebral disc degeneration are still unclear.

CONCLUSION

The mechanisms of Wnt/beta-catenin and NF-kappaB pathways in the process of the intervertebral disc degeneration have to be studied deeply.

目的

综述Wnt/β-连环蛋白和核因子-κB(NF-κB)信号通路在椎间盘退变过程中的作用机制研究进展。

方法

回顾、分析并总结有关Wnt/β-连环蛋白和NF-κB信号通路在椎间盘退变过程中作用机制的相关文献。

结果

Wnt/β-连环蛋白和NF-κB信号通路在椎间盘退变过程中均被激活,且存在相互作用。然而,Wnt/β-连环蛋白和NF-κB信号通路在椎间盘退变过程中的具体作用机制及相互作用介质仍不明确。

结论

需要深入研究Wnt/β-连环蛋白和NF-κB信号通路在椎间盘退变过程中的作用机制。
