[Changes of the blood kallikrein-kinin system in patients with diffuse toxic goiter under the influence of thyrostatic therapy and prodectin].

The author demonstrates absence of normalizing effect of the traditional thyrostatic therapy on the state of the kallikrein-kinin system of the blood, the activity of which rises in diffuse toxic goiter. It was established that the specific antagonist of bradykinin--prodectin (pyridinolcarbamate) proved effective in the correction of the above changes of kininogenesis.
