Methods for the preparation of gradients for solid-phase enzyme immunoassay are described to be used in measurements of the blood serum pregnancy-associated protein A (PAPA). Blood serum PAPA levels in healthy donors, male and female subjects have been measured. The suggested method is highly sensitive, reproducible, and simple.
