To evaluate the antioxidant and antiperoxidative effects of oil mixes of high ratio Omega-9:Omega-6 and low ratio Omega-6:Omega-3 in the third day after tooth extraction in rats.
Thirty-two male Wistar rats (270-310 g) were randomly distributed in two groups: Control (n=24) and Test (n=8). Control group was divided into three subgroups (n=8): G1: Sham-Saline; G2: Saline; G3: Isolipid. G1 and G2 animals received NaCl 0.9% while G3 rats were treated with an isolipid mixture (alpha-linolenic acid - ALA) containing -6/-3 oils (8:1 ratio) and-9/-6 (0.4:1 ratio). Test group animals (G4) received oily mixtures (alpha-linolenic acid - ALA, docosahexaenoic acid - DHA, eicosapentaenoic acid - EPA) of -6/-3 (1.4:1 ratio) and -9/-6 (3.4:1 ratio). Saline and oils were administered by gavage during four days before and three days after first mandibular molar extraction. Following, samples (arterial blood and alveolar mucosa) were collected for glutathione (GSH) and thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) assays.
Oil mixes induced a significant decrease in GSH and TBARS tissue and plasma concentrations in the third day post-surgery.
Gavage administration of oil mixes of high ratio Omega-9:Omega-6 and low ratio Omega-6:Omega-3 after molar extraction in rats induces a significant decrease in lipid peroxidation.

32只雄性Wistar大鼠(体重270 - 310克)随机分为两组:对照组(n = 24)和试验组(n = 8)。对照组再分为三个亚组(n = 8):G1:假手术 - 生理盐水组;G2:生理盐水组;G3:等脂质组。G1和G2组动物接受0.9%氯化钠溶液,而G3组大鼠用含有-6/-3油类(比例为8:1)和-9/-6(比例为0.4:1)的等脂质混合物(α-亚麻酸 - ALA)治疗。试验组动物(G4)接受-6/-3(比例为1.4:1)和-9/-6(比例为3.4:1)的油性混合物(α-亚麻酸 - ALA、二十二碳六烯酸 - DHA、二十碳五烯酸 - EPA)。在首次下颌磨牙拔牙前四天和拔牙后三天通过灌胃给予生理盐水和油类。随后,采集样本(动脉血和牙槽黏膜)进行谷胱甘肽(GSH)和硫代巴比妥酸反应性物质(TBARS)测定。
术后第三天,油类混合物使组织和血浆中的GSH和TBARS浓度显著降低。
大鼠磨牙拔牙后通过灌胃给予高比例欧米伽-9:欧米伽-6和低比例欧米伽-6:欧米伽-3的油类混合物可显著降低脂质过氧化。
