Abstract

Two new HLA- DRB1 alleles were identified by sequence-based typing method (SBT) in 1100 participants in the Saudi Stem Cell Donor Registry. HLA-DRB111:150 differs from HLA-DRB111:01:01G by a single C to A substitution at nucleotide position 5580 in exon 2, resulting in an amino acid change from alanine to glutamic acid at position 74. HLA-DRB114:145 differs from HLA-DRB114:04 by a C to G substitution at nucleotide position 5511 in exon 2, resulting in an amino acid change from threonine to arginine at position 51.

通过基于序列的分型方法(SBT),在沙特干细胞供体登记处的1100名参与者中鉴定出两个新的HLA-DRB1等位基因。HLA-DRB111:150与HLA-DRB111:01:01G的区别在于,外显子2中核苷酸位置5580处发生了单个C到A的替换,导致第74位氨基酸从丙氨酸变为谷氨酸。HLA-DRB114:145与HLA-DRB114:04的区别在于,外显子2中核苷酸位置5511处发生了C到G的替换,导致第51位氨基酸从苏氨酸变为精氨酸。
