[Removal of Zenker's diverticula using automatic staplers].

Own experiences with the resection of pharyngoesophageal (Zenker's) diverticula using a stapling device are reported and compared with the rare literature. No patient developed a leakage or a stenosis after surgery. All patients were free of symptoms after the operation and no patient died due to surgery.
