The etiology of spontaneous rupture of the extensor pollicis longus tendon includes systemic or local steroid injections, wrist fracture, tenosynovitis, synovitis, rheumatoid arthritis, and repetitive wrist motions.
We encountered a case of extensor pollicis longus tendon rupture with an unusual etiology, cow milking. In this case, transfer of the extensor indicis proprius tendon was performed successfully. At 1 year after surgery, extension of the thumb was sufficient.
It appears that patients with occupations involving repetitive motions are at a high risk of closed tendon ruptures.
拇长展肌肌腱自发性断裂的病因包括全身或局部类固醇注射、腕部骨折、腱鞘炎、滑膜炎、类风湿关节炎和反复的腕部运动。
我们遇到了一例不常见病因导致的拇长展肌肌腱断裂，病因是挤牛奶。在本例中，成功地进行了示指固有伸肌腱转移。术后 1 年，拇指的伸展功能充足。
似乎从事重复性运动的职业的患者发生闭合性肌腱断裂的风险较高。
