WITH THE growth of practice development over the past 20 years there has been an increased understanding and focus on the importance of systematic, collaborative approaches, that lead to better outcomes for patients and their supporters. The pathways that individuals have followed as practice developers look and feel different, however, what is key is how they/we have applied learning to improve effectiveness, understanding and knowledge of approaches to challenge, support and develop practice.
