[Health education of water transportation personnel in the Northern Region].

Based on the study of incidence, characteristics and peculiarities of the localization of traumatic injuries among the crew of transportation, fishing and river fleet of the Northern Region over 10 years, a complex medico-hygienic programme of preventive activities aimed at health promotion of sailors and prevention of accidents has been elaborated. News-bulletins, methodological recommendations, large-circulation newspaper articles and radio-lectures worked out on the basis of the survey are used in practical work.
