Impetigo contagiosa--etiology in Iraq.

Two hundred cases of impetigo contagiosa were studied bacteriologically. Along with the usual staphylococci and streptococci, gram-positive diplococci were isolated in pure cultures in thirty-seven cases. Ninety-six cases were submitted for sensitivity tests to several antibiotics; the results are discussed.
