Abstract
The activity of the enzymatic marker for basophilic leucocytes and mast cells, omega-exonuclease, was assayed in 20 peripheral blood and 10 bone marrow samples from haematologically normal subjects. The absolute specificity and technical simplicity, of this cytochemical method were fully confirmed.
