To investigate correlation of serum autotaxin and disease severity in biliary atresia (BA).
Eighty postoperative BA patients and 15 controls were recruited. Serum autotaxin levels were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
BA patients had greater serum autotaxin and liver stiffness than controls. Serum autotaxin and liver stiffness were markedly elevated in BA patients with jaundice compared to those without jaundice. Furthermore, serum autotaxin was correlated with liver stiffness and biochemical parameters in BA.
Elevated serum autotaxin was correlated with hepatic dysfunction in BA. Accordingly, serum autotaxin is a promising biomarker reflecting the severity in BA.
探讨血清自分泌运动因子与胆道闭锁(BA)疾病严重程度的相关性。
招募80例BA术后患者和15例对照者。采用酶联免疫吸附测定法测定血清自分泌运动因子水平。
BA患者血清自分泌运动因子水平和肝脏硬度均高于对照组。与无黄疸的BA患者相比,有黄疸的BA患者血清自分泌运动因子水平和肝脏硬度显著升高。此外,BA患者血清自分泌运动因子与肝脏硬度及生化参数相关。
BA患者血清自分泌运动因子升高与肝功能障碍相关。因此,血清自分泌运动因子是反映BA严重程度的一个有前景的生物标志物。
