Relapsing polychondritis (RP) is an episodic and progressive inflammatory disease of the cartilaginous structures, including elastic cartilage of the ear and nose, hyaline cartilage of the peripheral joints, fibrocartilage at axial sites, and cartilage of the tracheo-bronchial tree. The spectrum of its presentations may vary from intermittent mild episodes of chondritis to occasional organ involvement or even life-threatening manifestations.
We presented a 64 year-old male patient with bilaterally knee arthritis and discoloration of pinna.
There is lack of awareness about this disease due to its rarity. With this case presentation, our goal was to draw attention to this disease, which could be delayed for the diagnosis.
复发性多软骨炎（RP）是一种反复发作的进行性软骨炎症性疾病，包括耳和鼻的弹性软骨、外周关节的透明软骨、轴位的纤维软骨和气管-支气管树的软骨。其表现谱可能从间歇性轻度软骨炎发作到偶尔的器官受累甚至危及生命的表现不等。
我们报告了一名 64 岁男性患者，双侧膝关节关节炎和耳廓变色。
由于这种疾病比较罕见，因此人们对此病的认识不足。通过本例介绍，我们的目的是引起对这种疾病的关注，因为这种疾病的诊断可能会被延误。
