Abstract

OBJECTIVE

To elucidate the simultaneous contamination of Salmonella and Campylobacter in retail chicken carcasses in Beijing and to carry out the serological typing of all Salmonella isolates as well as the identification of Campylobacter at the species level.

METHODS

A total of 33 chicken carcasses were collected from Beijing supermarkets and farm's trade markets from May to July. All samples were enumerated for Salmonella and Campylobacter. All Salmonella isolates obtained were further serotyped and Campylobacter were identified at the species level.

RESULTS

Totally, 19 samples (19/33, 57.6%) and 5 samples (5/33, 15.2%) were positive for Salmonella with the mean level of 119.4 MPN/100g and Campylobacter with the mean level of 58.6 CFU/g, respectively. In terms of Salmonella, 166 isolates with 14 serotypes were obtained. Salmonella Enteritidis was the most common serovar detected followed by S. Indiana. Serovar diversity was very high in all Salmonella isolates and various Salmonella serovars were detected in the same chicken carcass. A total of 11 serovar distribution spectrums were found and S. Enteritidis in combination with S. Indiana was the predominant.

CONCLUSION

The retail chicken carcasses in Beijing collected from May to July were heavily contaminated by Salmonella with high serovar diversity.

目的

阐明北京零售鸡肉胴体中沙门氏菌和弯曲杆菌的同时污染情况,并对所有沙门氏菌分离株进行血清学分型以及在种水平上鉴定弯曲杆菌。

方法

于5月至7月从北京超市和农贸市场采集了33份鸡肉胴体样本。对所有样本进行沙门氏菌和弯曲杆菌计数。对获得的所有沙门氏菌分离株进一步进行血清分型,对弯曲杆菌进行种水平鉴定。

结果

总体而言,沙门氏菌检测阳性的样本有19份(19/33,57.6%),平均含量为119.4 MPN/100g;弯曲杆菌检测阳性的样本有5份(5/33,15.2%),平均含量为58.6 CFU/g。就沙门氏菌而言,获得了166株分离株,分属于14个血清型。肠炎沙门氏菌是检测到的最常见血清型,其次是印第安纳沙门氏菌。所有沙门氏菌分离株的血清型多样性非常高,在同一鸡肉胴体中检测到了多种沙门氏菌血清型。共发现11种血清型分布谱,肠炎沙门氏菌与印第安纳沙门氏菌组合为主导型。

结论

5月至7月在北京采集的零售鸡肉胴体受到沙门氏菌的严重污染,血清型多样性高。
