Abstract
The present report describes two cases of renal cell carcinoma extending into the vena cava and the right atrium. The treatment was total nephrectomy and tumor thrombectomy, utilizing extracorporeal circulation. The aggressive surgical management of this progressive malignant disease is discussed.
