Reactivities of mononuclear nonheme iron(IV)-oxo and manganese(IV)-oxo complexes bearing a pentadentate N4Py ligand, M(IV)O(N4Py) (M = Fe and Mn), are compared in hydrogen atom transfer (HAT) and oxygen atom transfer (OAT) reactions; theoretical and experimental results show that Fe(IV)O is more reactive than Mn(IV)O. The latter is shown to react through excited state reactivity (ESR).
比较了带有五齿N4Py配体的单核非血红素铁(IV)-氧和锰(IV)-氧配合物[M(IV)O(N4Py)](2+)(M = Fe和Mn)在氢原子转移(HAT)和氧原子转移(OAT)反应中的反应活性;理论和实验结果表明,Fe(IV)O比Mn(IV)O更具反应活性。研究表明,后者通过激发态反应性(ESR)发生反应。
