Suzanne Ramsey, BSN, RN, CPSN, CANS, is a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Injector and Laser Specialist at Salzman Cosmetic Surgery and Spa and is also the founder of Suzanne Ramsey Aesthetics, LLC. Suzanne has worked in plastic surgery, specializing in aesthetics for 12 years earning her Board Certification in Plastic Surgery in 2008, as well as accreditation as a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist in 2013. She is a member of the ASPSN, Sigma Theta Tau International, and actively involved in the Progeria Research Foundation. She is also licensed as a nurse in 27 states. Her nursing experience encompasses pediatrics and women's health with a primary focus in plastic surgery. Suzanne is passionate about the art of facial aesthetics, appreciates the necessity of continued education, and enjoys sharing her knowledge with fellow medical professionals. The author is presently affiliated with Allergan and CosmoFrance as a consultant and trainer.

Bullying and mobbing in the workplace have accelerated at alarming rates around the world in the past decade. Health care workers, nurses, managers, physicians, and owners of organizations, sometimes choose unethical methodology as a means to obtain personal and/or organizational goals. The consequences of these unethical decisions have a profound impact on the victim, bystanders, the organization, as well as the nursing profession. As a result, victims (nurses) often suffer from physiological and psychological distress, posttraumatic stress disorder, suicide, and erosion of professional confidence; patient's quality of care is undermined; nurses exit the profession; and organizations suffer from decreased morale, decline in productivity, financial loss, and a tarnished reputation.
