Helv Chir Acta. 1989 Dec;56(4):591-7.
During 1979 to 1986 72 patients have been treated surgically because of "anterolateral rotation instability" of the knee joint. The follow-up of 51 patients is based on the AOK-method. The surgical technique (modified gracilis and iliotibialis replacement) is described. 82.4% ended up in a good to very good result, in patients' view even 88.2%. The cases with bad and medium results are discussed, as well as those who underwent further treatment elsewhere.
