The statistical correlations between body weight, glycemia, total lipids, cholesterol in 200 patients with essential hypertension, especially borderline essential hypertension, followed up for 6 years indicate that the complex environmental factors in Slănic-Moldova Health Resort associated with balneotherapy may induce a return to normal values of the above mentioned parameters. Good results were also obtained in the patients with essential hypertension and non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus, their treatment including reduction diets (1200-1400 calories/day).
对200例原发性高血压患者，尤其是临界原发性高血压患者进行了6年随访，结果表明，斯拉尼克-摩尔多瓦温泉疗养胜地与浴疗法相关的复杂环境因素可能促使上述参数恢复正常。对原发性高血压合并非胰岛素依赖型糖尿病患者也取得了良好效果，他们的治疗包括减肥饮食（每天1200-1400卡路里）。
