[Natural ambiant radioactivity and cancer].

Measures made in France have showed that gamma radioactivity and indoor radon concentration were more important in country with granitic soil. As long as radon was more particularly admitted to be inducer of broncho-pulmonary cancer by inhalation, epidemiologic inquires were made. The results do not reveal any excess death caused by cancer in these countries selected because of their granitic soil.
