A clinical review was made of 92 Isosit composite inlays that had been inserted in the mouth for a period ranging from seven months to four years four months. The direct clinical examination, the indirect model and colour slide examination showed that only one inlay did not satisfy the USPHS (modified) criteria for a functioning restorative system.
