Abstract
A patient with the combination of pheochromocytoma and renal cell carcinoma is reported, matching a forme fruste of von Hippel-Lindau disease. A review of the literature on this combination is given and a possible relation between the overlap syndrome, von Hippel-Lindau disease and the combination pheochromocytoma-renal cell carcinoma, is discussed.
