[Social politics and health--Germany and Austria at the time of the Weimar Republic].

The article contributes to the development of health-welfare in Austria in the first third of the 20th century. The various relations to such activities of health protection in Germany and the efforts and merits of the Vienna physician, anatomist and social politician Julius Tandler (1869-1936) are accentuated.
