The Pharmacopoeia of the GDR was published in 1964 and 1975 in its 1st and 2nd edition and, since 1983, has been subjected to another complete revision published in three installments so far. By including monographs for newly registered drugs and modern determination methods as well as by qualifying purity tests and by regulations flexible in their application, the provisions--also in the context of the CMEA Pharmacopoeia--were continuously adapted to developments in the field of drug therapy and to international requirements.
民主德国药典于1964年和1975年分别出版了第一版和第二版，自1983年以来，又进行了一次全面修订，至今已分三卷出版。通过纳入新注册药品的专论和现代测定方法，以及规范纯度测试并采用灵活适用的规定，这些规定——同样在经互会药典的背景下——不断适应药物治疗领域的发展和国际要求。
