Abstract

Though acetylcholine per se was not attractant or repellent for Escherichia coli, it was found that acetylcholine inhibits the chemotaxis of the bacteria for aspartate. The inhibition appeared at 10(-5) M of acetylcholine and at 10(-2) M the inhibition reached 50%.

摘要

尽管乙酰胆碱本身对大肠杆菌既无吸引作用也无排斥作用，但研究发现乙酰胆碱会抑制细菌对天冬氨酸的趋化性。在乙酰胆碱浓度为10⁻⁵ M时出现抑制作用，当浓度达到10⁻² M时，抑制率达到50%。
