Abstract
The present work highlights our observations on "iatrogenic" superficial punctate keratopathy following use of savlon as cleansing agent before ocular surgery. It is emphasized that savlon, if used for skin preparation, should be carefully painted on or safer antiseptics, viz, betadine, be employed instead.
