[The femoral region of the rat for the training in microsurgical vascular and neural anastomosis technics].

Regular practice in the operative technique is prerequisite for good functioning of micro surgical vessel and nerve anastomoses. The femoral region of the rat provides in one site an artery, a vein and several nerve branches. In one operation surgical anastomosis can be performed on all three structures.
