[The regular alternation of exo- and endotrophy in the cell cycle of yeasts].

The data supporting the hypothesis of a succession of endo- and exotrophic phases in cell cycle of proliferating cells have been obtained. The succession is expressed in the changes in rate of endogenous respiration, sensitivity of the cells to rotenone, and the rate of substrate absorption.
