Abstract
A case of chronic osteomyelitis has been presented to show the effectiveness of hyperbaric oxygen in treatment of this disease. Surgical intervention is needed, as are adequate cultures, even though the cultures may be difficult to obtain and identify. Because the antibiotic therapy may need to be changed during the course of the disease, the selection of antibiotics should be dictated by positive cultures as well as the clinical course. Antibiotic therapy is needed for four to six weeks after abatement of symptoms.

已呈现一例慢性骨髓炎病例，以展示高压氧治疗该疾病的有效性。需要进行手术干预，同时也需要进行充分的培养，尽管培养物可能难以获取和鉴定。由于在疾病过程中可能需要更换抗生素治疗，抗生素的选择应根据阳性培养结果以及临床病程来决定。症状缓解后需要进行四至六周的抗生素治疗。
