32 patients with Hallux valgus were treated at 58 feet with Du Vries surgical method. The functional and subjective results after a mean observation period of 4.8 years ranged from good to very good on 17 from 23 examinated patients. However, the corrected position of the intoe was found only at an average of 5 degrees. This is due to postoperative correction loss. Only in young patients with a valgus position below 35 degrees and without signs of arthrosis deformans in the valgus joint this purely soft-tissue operation is indicated.
采用杜弗里斯手术方法对32例拇外翻患者的58只脚进行了治疗。平均观察期4.8年后，23例接受检查的患者中，17例的功能和主观结果为良好至非常好。然而，内翻足的矫正位置平均仅为5度。这是由于术后矫正丢失。这种单纯的软组织手术仅适用于外翻角度低于35度且外翻关节无关节病畸形迹象的年轻患者。
